Improved Generalized IHS Based on Total Variation for Pansharpening

Pansharpening refers to the fusion of a panchromatic (PAN) and multispectral (MS) image aimed at generating high-quality outcome over same area. This particular problem has been widely studied, but until recently, it challenging balance spatial spectral fidelity in fused images. The distortion is widespread component substitution-based approaches due variation intensity distribution components. We lightened idea using total optimization improve upon novel GIHS-TV framework for pansharpening. drew high from GIHS scheme implemented with simpler variational expression. An improved L1-TV constraint new spatial–spectral information was introduced framework, along its fast implementation. objective function solved by Iteratively Reweighted Norm (IRN) method. experimental results on “PAirMax” dataset clearly indicated that could effectively reduce process substitution. Our method achieved excellent visual effects evaluation metrics.
